1. Information GymShorts stores

GymShorts may store information that you enter into the app. This information is used to provide the app’s workout, template, exercise reference, progress tracking, and backup features.

Workout sessions, exercises, sets, reps, weights, cardio entries, and rest timer data
Workout templates and custom exercise categories
Exercise reference links
Progress updates and body measurements
Progress photos added by the user
App settings, including units, themes, app icon choice, backup preferences, and display preferences

2. Local-only use

GymShorts is designed to work locally on your device. Most app data remains on your device unless you choose to use backup, restore, or sharing features.

GymShorts does not require a Tr33Tech account.

3. Google Drive access

GymShorts uses Google Drive access only to provide optional backup and restore functionality. When you connect your Google Account, GymShorts may create, read, update, list, and delete GymShorts backup files as needed for backup retention and restore features.

GymShorts does not use Google Drive access to view, scan, share, or manage unrelated files in your Google Drive.

4. Google user data

When you connect Google Drive, GymShorts may receive limited Google Account information needed to authorise backup access, such as your Google account identity or email address. This is used only to connect your account to backup and restore features.

GymShorts does not sell Google user data.
GymShorts does not use Google user data for advertising.
GymShorts does not share Google user data with third parties.
GymShorts does not transfer Google user data to Tr33Tech servers for analysis, profiling, or marketing.

5. How backups are stored

If you enable Google Drive backup, your GymShorts backup data is uploaded to your own Google Drive account. Backups may include workouts, templates, exercises, settings, progress updates, body measurements, and optionally progress photos, depending on the backup options available in the app.

GymShorts does not make your backups public.

6. Progress photos

Progress photos are stored in app-managed storage on your device. If your backup settings include progress photos, they may also be included in your Google Drive backup.

GymShorts does not upload progress photos anywhere else.

7. Data sharing

GymShorts does not sell, rent, or share your personal app data with advertisers or data brokers.

GymShorts may share data only when:

You choose to share content from the app yourself
You use Google Drive backup or restore
Sharing is required by law

8. Data security

GymShorts uses Google APIs and Android platform security features to handle Google Drive backup and restore. Data sent to Google Drive is transmitted using secure Google API connections.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but GymShorts is designed to limit access to what is necessary for app functionality.

9. Data retention and deletion

You can delete GymShorts data by:

Deleting workouts, templates, exercises, progress updates, or photos inside the app
Clearing GymShorts app data from Android system settings
Uninstalling the app
Deleting GymShorts backups from Google Drive where available
Revoking GymShorts access from your Google Account permissions page

If you revoke Google Drive access, GymShorts will no longer be able to create or restore Google Drive backups unless you reconnect your account.

10. Children’s privacy

GymShorts is not designed for children and is not directed at children under 13. GymShorts does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If the policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same Privacy Policy URL.
